FAQ

How many pictures will we receive?

Guaranteed 25 photos per hour session, adding an extra hour gets another 25 photos. An album of culled, and edited photos will be delivered to your email once finished. You will not have full access to Raw images.

How should we dress for our family session?

With whatever makes you comfortable! But if coordinating, solid colors or big prints are great, and having one theme color across the whole family really brings the photos together!

How far in advance should we book?

It’s best to inquire about your date as soon as possible — especially for weddings, as dates can book quickly months in advance. I recommend reaching out at least 1–3 months ahead for sessions and even earlier for weddings to ensure availability. Life happens, schedules change, and weekends fill fast, so the sooner you inquire, the better!

How long does it take to receive our gallery

Turnaround time varies depending on the type of session and the season, but most portrait galleries are delivered within 2–3 weeks, while weddings are typically delivered within 6–8 weeks. I always strive to deliver your memories as quickly as possible without sacrificing the quality and care your images deserve. Sneak peeks are also shared shortly after your session or wedding day so you have something to enjoy while the full gallery is being finalized!

Do you help with posing during the session?

Absolutely! Most of my clients say they feel awkward in front of the camera at first — and that’s completely normal. My goal is to create a fun, relaxed, and comfortable experience where you can simply be yourselves. I’ll guide you through natural posing and prompts the entire time so your photos feel genuine, effortless, and true to you.

What areas do you serve?

I’m based in Lincolnton, North Carolina and proudly serve the surrounding areas including Denver, Lake Norman, Maiden, Hickory, Huntersville, Charlotte, and beyond. I also love traveling for weddings and sessions throughout North Carolina — from the mountains of Asheville to the Carolina coast. If your dream location is a little farther away, don’t hesitate to ask!
