A Romantic Wedding at Cherry Treesort in China Grove, NC | Erlita & Jordan

Some wedding days are simply hard to put into words. The kind that remind you just how much love can be held in one day, how quickly the moments pass, and how important it is to have something to look back on when they do.

Erlita and Jordan’s wedding day at Cherry Treesort in China Grove, North Carolina, was one of those days. 🤍

From the beautiful details to the quiet moments between the big ones, their wedding was a reminder of why I love what I do. Being able to document the beginning of a couple’s marriage is such a special thing, and I never want to take that responsibility lightly.

As a North Carolina wedding photographer, my heart is to create images that do more than show you what your wedding looked like. I want you to remember what it felt like.

A Romantic Wedding Day at Cherry Treesort

Cherry Treesort in China Grove, NC, was the setting for Erlita and Jordan’s wedding celebration. Located in Rowan County, this North Carolina venue offers a distinctive setting for couples planning a wedding surrounded by family, friends, and meaningful moments.

One of my favorite things about photographing weddings is seeing how each couple brings their own personality and story into the day. No two weddings are exactly alike, and no two love stories should be photographed exactly the same way.

For Erlita and Jordan, I wanted to preserve the beauty of their day while making sure their photographs reflected the love and emotion behind it all.

Erlita Was Truly Stunning

Can we talk about Erlita for a moment? Because she was truly STUNNING.

There is something so special about seeing a bride on her wedding day. The dress, the veil, the flowers, and all the carefully chosen details come together to create a look that feels uniquely hers.

But beyond all the beautiful details, what makes a bride unforgettable is the meaning behind the moment. This is a day she has been looking forward to, a day filled with anticipation, and the beginning of a new chapter.

I love photographing those little details because they help tell the whole story. Years from now, I want Erlita to be able to look back at her photographs and remember not only how she looked, but how she felt stepping into this new season of life.

The Little Moments That Make a Wedding Day

When you look back at your wedding photographs, you'll naturally want to see the big moments. The ceremony, the portraits, the celebration, and all the people who came together to love you both.

But some of the most meaningful photographs come from the moments you might not even realize are happening.

The nervous laughs. The happy tears. A quiet hand squeeze. The little look between two people who are finally getting to marry each other. That moment when everything settles in and you realize, we actually did it.

These are the moments I find myself drawn to again and again.

Of course, I want your portraits to be beautiful, and I will help guide you throughout the day. But I also want you to have the freedom to be present, enjoy your people, and experience your wedding without feeling like every second has to be perfectly posed.

My approach to wedding photography is rooted in genuine connection, natural emotion, and timeless, true-to-life color. I want your gallery to feel like your day—not a collection of moments that could belong to anyone.

Wedding Photographs That Will Still Matter Years From Now

Your wedding day will pass more quickly than you expect. The flowers won't last forever, the cake will be eaten, and the carefully planned timeline will become a memory.

Your photographs are something you can return to.

They allow you to revisit the people who stood beside you, the details you spent months choosing, the expressions you may have missed, and the emotions that made the day yours.

My goal at Creations by Carra Photography is to create timeless wedding images that you'll love not just today, but decades from now. Photographs that bring you back to the feeling of the day and help you share your story with the people who come after you.

Because your wedding photographs aren't just for your wedding album. They're part of your family's story.
