Meet the Blackham Family | A Christmas Content Day at The Gallery Rooms
Getting to photograph the Blackham family during our content day at The Gallery Rooms was such a wonderful opportunity to explore these beautiful spaces and create images that celebrate family connection.
As a photographer, I'm always drawn to locations that have their own character. I love a space that feels thoughtfully designed, with beautiful details and an atmosphere that allows the photographs to feel warm, inviting, and timeless.
The Gallery Rooms offered just that.
Instead of a traditional studio backdrop, the rooms have their own distinct personalities. The architecture, furnishings, and seasonal styling create a setting where your family can simply settle in together while we preserve this season of life.
And honestly, that's what I want for every family who steps in front of my camera. I want your photographs to be beautiful, of course, but I also want them to feel like your family.
The Blackham family's session gave me the chance to explore the possibilities of this space, and I am so excited to bring that same heart for connection and timeless imagery to my Christmas mini sessions on November 14!

The Salon is the room I've selected for my upcoming Christmas mini sessions, and I am so excited for you to experience it!
With its European-inspired character, thoughtfully layered furnishings, and beautiful natural light, The Salon offers a warm, refined atmosphere that feels inviting without being overly themed. It's the kind of space that allows the Christmas details to shine while keeping the focus where it belongs: on your family.
I love the idea of creating Christmas portraits here that feel both festive and timeless. The kind of images you can use for Christmas cards this year, display in your home, give to grandparents, and look back on long after the decorations have been packed away.
And because we're photographing indoors, you can enjoy a beautiful seasonal setting without worrying about chilly temperatures or unpredictable outdoor weather.
Christmas Mini Sessions at The Gallery Rooms
My Christmas minis are designed for families who want updated portraits and meaningful memories without committing to a full-length session.
Whether your little ones are growing faster than you'd like, you're hoping to get everyone together for a new family portrait, or you simply want a few beautiful images for the Christmas season, this is such a sweet opportunity to do just that.

Date: Saturday, November 14, 2026
Time: 10 AM–12 PM
Location: The Salon at The Gallery Rooms, downtown Mooresville, NC
Session length: 15 minutes
Investment: $100
Included: 15 edited digital images
Gallery upgrade: Upgrade to the full 30-image gallery for an additional $50
Booking requirements: A signed contract and $25 deposit to reserve your spot
Gallery delivery: Your final gallery will be delivered within one week, with no sneak peeks for these minis.
There are only six spots available, and I'd love to see them filled with families ready to make a few more Christmas memories together!

The Conservatory | Another Beautiful Space at The Gallery Rooms
Now, I can't talk about our content day without mentioning The Conservatory!
Although I've booked The Salon for my November 14 Christmas mini sessions, I also had the opportunity to photograph in The Conservatory during our content day, and I would absolutely LOVE to return and create more images in this space.
The Conservatory has a different atmosphere from The Salon. Its grand arched windows, romantic European-inspired styling, and beautiful light create an airy, enchanting setting with so much potential for storytelling.
I can already imagine the possibilities for future family sessions, maternity portraits, couples, and so many other meaningful milestones.
One of my favorite things about photography is finding locations that inspire new ideas. A beautiful space can give a session its own personality, and I love having the opportunity to create something different for every client.
The Conservatory may not be the room I'm using for these Christmas minis, but it has definitely earned a spot on my list of places I'd love to photograph in again!
